This includes prioritizing the use of materials with a low environmental impact and actively working to reduce our CO₂ emissions.
For the emissions we cannot eliminate, we are committed to offsetting our carbon footprint through various initiatives, including investing in renewable energy projects and supporting reforestation efforts. Our goal is to contribute positively to the planet while delivering quality products that align with our sustainability values. Together, we can create a more sustainable future.
Every product we offer is thoughtfully crafted upon order, ensuring that each item is unique and reducing the risk of overproduction. This approach not only minimizes waste but also aligns with our commitment to sustainability.
In our efforts to conserve resources, we have implemented straightforward yet impactful practices throughout our product management. For instance, we refrain from using plastic bags for our puzzle packaging, opting instead for environmentally friendly alternatives. Both our puzzle boxes and the pieces themselves are made from cardboard that is sourced primarily from recycled materials.
In our commitment to sustainability, we collaborate with our partner, ClimatePartner, to meticulously calculate the total carbon footprint of our puzzle production. This analysis allows us to identify and reduce emissions across all areas of our operation. For the emissions that we cannot completely eliminate, we invest in offsetting initiatives to ensure our ecological footprint remains as minimal as possible.
Currently, we are proud to support a climate change prevention project focused on regional reforestation and international forest protection facilitated by the Associazione Nazionale delle Attività Regionali Forestali (ANARF). This initiative not only combats the commercial deforestation of tropical rainforests but also actively contributes to reforestation efforts in Italy. For every tonne of CO₂ that we offset, a new tree is planted, reinforcing our dedication to restoring natural habitats and promoting biodiversity.
